Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 Review

Oh Lucasarts what is going on with you guys? Star Wars The Force Unleashed 2 is the long awaited sequel to the bestselling game of 2008. Although it might have been the best selling game it suffered from a lot of technical issues and the sequel continues on the legacy of those issues. (more…)

Medal of Honor Review

Medal of Honor 2010 is a reboot of the series that started back on the previous generation of consoles. The game has been taken out of its familiar roots from the World War 2 era and placed in a more modern setting. The game takes place right after the events of 9/11 and has you assuming different roles within the single player campaign on the frontlines of Afghanistan. This game is literally 2 games in one since one company developed the single player and another developed the multiplayer. The look and feel of both are very different but it cannot out do the CoD series. This feels very similar to Modern Warfare 2 and they try really hard to mimic it but lets face it, nothing can touch the COD series. Sorry Medal of Honor, you got served. (more…)

Halo: Reach Review

Spiderman: Shattered Dimensions Review

Spiderman has had a countless amount of success in the video game world for the last decade or so. This game actually reminded me of the Spiderman game that came out in 2000 for N64 and Playstation. Most of the Spiderman games that have come out over the last couple of years have primarily dealt with being an open sandbox type style of gameplay, but this game takes you back to the time when you were restricted to levels without open-city area gameplay (probably why it reminds me of the Spiderman game from 2000). Transformers War for Cybertron Review

Well I must say that Transformers has had crazy success over the last couple of years now starting with the movies although I never liked the second, but commercially it has raked in quite a bit. Though the movies and shows have been doing well there has never been a great game to follow up with this…until now! (more…)

And the winner is…

Well now I think this was a very exciting E3 between the big 3. All came out with their strengths and of course weaknesses (glitches, failures, etc…). Gaming is changing and I believe its heading into an exciting direction that makes you believe anything is possible for the future!

Of the Big 3 I believe….Nintendo took the show. They showed off a lot of classic games plus new ones that will be coming out soon. The 3DS looks amazing and the games being released for it look awesome.  I would say Microsoft comes in at second place because of two things, the Kinect will revolutionize the way we play games and of course they introduced a new and better XBOX 360! Sony wasn’t exciting me that much with what they showed, The Move looks amazing do not get me wrong, but the rest of the conference wasn’t really doing anything for me. There were way too many video montages, that were very unnecessary when I already see them plenty of times on TV.

So there you have it folks, I hope you enjoyed this year’s E3 as much as I did and I cannot wait to see what they show off next year!
