Well, Batman: Arkham City is just a few short months away and from everything that I’ve seen, it looks to be shaping up into an amazing and breathtaking game…could it perhaps become game of the year? Even if it doesn’t I have no doubts that it will find its way on to people’s top 10 lists.
Every now and then new content is thrown at us and I just wanted to share the brand new Mr. Freeze trailer!
Freeze, makes his video game debut on the current gen of consoles. I have no idea as to what type of role he will play in terms of story, but we all know there is one thing that the doctor does care about, and that is seeing his beloved wife Nora returned to him. Perhaps Batman will make some sort of the deal with Freeze? Maybe Batman will pummel him and send him back to Arkham Asylum? Who knows what will happen, but Freeze has been put on the list of other notable villains that will be featured in the game.
Check out his awesome trailer!
The beginning of this trailer looks like something out of the new upcoming Transformers movie…heck the whole thing reminds me of Transformers, probably because it looks like the world is coming to an end.
This is the newly released Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 trailer, set to be released later on this year. It looks very exciting, but it I do believe it will have some tough competition from the likes of Battlefield 3, set to be released this fall. Sound off in the comments and let us know what you think.
Enjoy the trailer!
The Call of Duty franchise reigns supreme amongst first person shooter games, although there are a ton of FPS games out there that are highly great, none can really come close to what the COD series has to offer. With a brand new year, there of course comes a brand new COD game. This time it is Infinity Ward that is taking over and releasing their Modern Warfare series. Modern Warfare 2, was the game that truly set Call of Duty on the map, by introducing a great (but short) single player experience, combined with an excellent and robust multiplayer. They are once again back at it, and it begs the question can they top not only their original series but also the Treyarch produced game Black Ops, which is now the highest grossing game in the world.
Infinity Ward has some tough hurdles to jump over, especially since they lost most of their senior staff a couple months after the release of MW2 (more on that later). But I believe they can still release an amazing game. (more…)
The original Soul Calibur video game for the Sega Dream Cast was very much a great treasure for that system; unfortunately it was not enough to save them. Thankfully this video game series that made its debut on the system was kept alive by being ported over to other consoles and it has seen many iterations since then. (more…)
Why cant there be amazing games coming out in the summer time? Why does everything have to be released in the fall when school begins? Oh well it wont stop me from indulging into my favourite hobby. And this fall will have a killer line up of games! (more…)
Well it looks like the Call of Duty franchise has a new competitor in the form of Battlefield 3. This next installment in the franchise is a direct sequel to Battlefield 2 and none of the Battlefield Bad Company games. This game will be using the new Frostbite engine that builds upon what we have seen in recent Battlefield games. You can expect to see sharper graphics and more destructable enviroments, which is always nice to see in a game (its all about the details)! Be on the look out for this game in the Fall of this year! Check out the vid; its a beautiful teaser! Thanks Paul for the heads up! (more…)
Well I was just taking a look at this trailer and it pretty much brought my jaw to the ground. This has truly been 10 years in the making; Capcom has done it once again, and I’m sure fans of the series will not be disappointed with this new iteration! I truly hope to get a copy for myself very soon. Check out the launch trailer! (more…)
Here is a look at some games that are coming out for next year! (more…)
Well folks its that wonderful time of the year once again; it seriously does not feel like Christmas is in two days, perhaps as you get older it doesn’t truly feel the same anymore, but that is how I feel. (more…)
Roughly over a month ago, Activision announced their plans of bringing out a brand new X-Men game, and with that came a teaser trailer that didn’t really offer much of anything. (more…)
And the trailers keep on pouring in. Here we have another Batman Arkham City Trailer and it looks like the main baddie for this game is none other than Dr. Hugo Strange. (more…)
As this year comes to an end we are given a taste of what we can look forward to in the upcoming year. (more…)
Can you believe it? We are only just a few weeks away from getting our hands on this game! (more…)
Looks like our very lovable mutants are back for a video game. X-Men: Destiny is in development by Activision and Silicon Knights, they were the ones behind the game Too Human. (more…)
Well the summer has come to an end and fall has begun. Yay, another glorious year of school! At the beginning of every month if you haven’t noticed I have a page at the top that gives you my thoughts on what I believe are going to be the best 360 games for that month. Today I shall provide a bigger post that expands that giving you previews of games that are coming out this fall! I think this shall be one of the best fall lineups in gaming history. Why do all the good stuff come out right when we go back to school…sigh. Here is your fall preview line up and be sure to check out my winter preview in a few weeks! (more…)
Not too long ago I posted a video and new title of what the new Batman game would be. Now I have a few pictures for you to feast your eyes upon. Enjoy!!
The month of July has been very kind to Microsoft and it’s gaming rig. With the release of the Xbox 360 slim; sales for the machine have catipulted, surpassing all other sales for that month. However I started thinking about something the other day, that sent a chill down my spine. I asked myself “What is left for the Xbox”? (in terms of franchise exclusives) (more…)
The first two games took place underwater in a city named Rapture (think of Atlantis, but very creepy). There you faced off against Big Daddys, little girls and an assortment of foes. Luckily you not only had weapons to defend yourself but you also had special abilities (such as shooting lightning from your fingertips) that were amazing.
Now the action is leaving the watery depths of Rapture and into the clouds in the city of Columbia (Empire Strikes Back anyone?). This should be an interesting new adventure seeing as you will now be in the daylight among the clouds, but dont get me wrong I’m sure the game will still keep some sort of horror aspect to it. I hope one feature they add in is the ability to fly or levitate…something along those lines…C’MON YOU ARE AMONG THE CLOUDS. ITS POSSIBLE! In any case this is a refreshing and welcome change. That’s the good news. The bad news you can expect to play this game some time in 2012!
Check out the trailer!
One of my favourite games to play on my XBOX is Modern Warfare 2. Now I have never been a fan of when Treyarch produced Call of Duty games; it could just never stand toe to toe with Infinity Ward. But I must say Black Ops has been looking very very promising lately and could possibly beat Infinity Ward (consider IW has also lost all of their senior staff over the past year). Who knows what will happen to IW in the long run but Treyarch is not letting anything stop them from producing a great game. This looks like a very promising game, if you don’t believe me, just check out this mulitplayer teaser.
Call of Duty: Black Ops will be released November 9, 2010 for 360 and PS3.
Such a tease…
Guess who’s back in the gaming world? That’s right Bond…James Bond is back once again in a brand new video game called, 007: Blood Stone. Details for me are a bit sketchy at the moment, but it does include an all star cast using the voices and likeness of Daniel Craig, Judi Dench, and Joss Stone. Hopefully this incarnation is better than the last one (Quantum of Solace).
This seems to be a great year for Mr. Bond with a re-imagining of Goldeneye slated for release later on this year for the Wii. Anyways enough of my chatter, check out the trailer!
It plays very similarly to the first one…actually it is a lot like the first one, which is a huge problem. There are not a lot of changes made to the game from what I played. Yes, I know its just a demo and it isn’t the full game, but the point of a demo is to give you a preview of a game that shows off something new especially if it is a sequel. If anything I could just pull out a copy of Crackdown 1 and play that.
However for those of you who haven’t played the first Crackdown then you can play this game and feel glorious! I just feel in my opinion that the game never bedazzled me like other demos such as Transformers or Gears of War.
But if you loved the first one and want an updated rendition then check it out.
