Microsoft Kinect Hands-on Impressions

So of course I couldn’t be at Fan Expo, take a picture beside the Kinect booth and not try it out; that would just be very silly! (more…)

Fan Expo 2010

Well this was my first time at an event like this and I was super excited to be a part of the excitement and thrills of such an amazing event. The Metro Convention Center was crazy packed with people. I felt really sorry for people who had to wait outside for hours just to get in. Always remember to purchase tickets in advance!

It was cool seeing people dressed up in great outfits; some of them really put a lot of effort into creating them, believe me. Here are a few pics for you all to enjoy!

Ghost Rider Sequel

Well it looks like they are following through with this one. There had been some speculation that the Ghost Rider film from 2007 was getting a sequel and Nicholas Cage expressed his desire to reprise his roll as the chain wielding, flame-headed biker hero.

The next film will be entitled Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance will begin shooting this fall. There is has been no release date confirmed as of yet, but I think we can expect it by the end of next year (2011) or the beginning of next (2012).

Let us hope and pray that this film will be better than the last. If it can work for Blade 2, then this film has hope…right?

The Expendables Review

If you are anything like me then I’ll bet when you heard about this movie you were super excited for it and couldn’t wait for it to come out. I mean how could you not be excited, this movie has action stars from the past and the present. However as the year went by and more trailers came out and the movie was quickly approaching its release date, I had a terrible feeling that this movie wasn’t going to be all that…damn I hate my instincts… (more…)

What’s left for Xbox?

The month of July has been very kind to Microsoft and it’s gaming rig. With the release of the Xbox 360 slim; sales for the machine have catipulted, surpassing all other sales for that month. However I started thinking about something the other day, that sent a chill down my spine. I asked myself “What is left for the Xbox”? (in terms of franchise exclusives) (more…)

Bioshock Infinite Announced

A few years ago a developer company by the name of 2K games released an amazing First Person Shooter experience called Bioshock. Let’s just say the game did very well and received a sequel.

The first two games took place underwater in a city named Rapture (think of Atlantis, but very creepy). There you faced off against Big Daddys, little girls and an assortment of foes. Luckily you not only had weapons to defend yourself but you also had special abilities (such as shooting lightning from your fingertips) that were amazing.

Now the action is leaving the watery depths of Rapture and into the clouds in the city of Columbia (Empire Strikes Back anyone?). This should be an interesting new adventure seeing as you will now be in the daylight among the clouds, but dont get me wrong I’m sure the game will still keep some sort of horror aspect to it. I hope one feature they add in is the ability to fly or levitate…something along those lines…C’MON YOU ARE AMONG THE CLOUDS. ITS POSSIBLE! In any case this is a refreshing and welcome change. That’s the good news. The bad news you can expect to play this game some time in 2012!

Check out the trailer!

Call of Duty Black Ops Multiplayer Tease

One of my favourite games to play on my XBOX is Modern Warfare 2. Now I have never been a fan of when Treyarch produced Call of Duty games; it could just never stand toe to toe with Infinity Ward. But I must say Black Ops has been looking very very promising lately and could possibly beat Infinity Ward (consider IW has also lost all of their senior staff over the past year). Who knows what will happen to IW in the long run but Treyarch is not letting anything stop them from producing a great game. This looks like a very promising game, if you don’t believe me, just check out this mulitplayer teaser.

Call of Duty: Black Ops will be released November 9, 2010 for 360 and PS3.

Such a tease…

Batman Under the Red Hood Review

Now when I first heard that this movie was going to be made I was super stoked. I was familiar with both Batman story arcs A Death in the Family and Under the Hood (which this movie is based off of). Which meant that we were going to see a very violent and dark story in Batman lore. Though when I saw this I was still very much shocked as to what I saw. (more…)

Batman Arkham Asylum Sequel has a name

Batman: Arkham Asylum was arguably one of the best games of 2009. In fact this was THE BEST Batman game ever created! The amount of time and energy that was put into the game was well worth it. And Rocksteady Studios should give themselves a round of applause for delivering a beautiful and well crafted game.

That game pleased Batman fans around the world and you know what, Rocksteady wants to offer you some more. A sequel to the game was announced after the release of the first game, but it didn’t have a name…until now that is. Batman Arkham City has a scheduled release date for Fall 2011. Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy reprise their roles as Joker and Batman respectively. And we are also introduced to a new group of villains as well that I’m sure Bat fans will know. Rumor has it that villains such as Two-Face, Catwoman, Mr. Freeze, and Talia Al-Ghul shall make appearances within the game, but of course these are just rumors as there is no proof as to who will be in it. Everything is tight lipped as of right now, but I’m sure as the year goes by we will be seeing a lot more. Here is a trailer to wet your appetite!

Out of all the villains I have come to known out of the comic book universe I must say that Joker is by far one of my favourites….I’m not crazy, I swear……………………..Enjoy!
